Brinton Research is now offering a complete STEP file(ISO-10303) geometry C implementation and parser. Lightweight code, under 100KB, the BObject class is designed to quickly open step files and provide a clean interface for programmers to develop his or her own tools based upon the International ISO-10303 standard which almost all CAD programs can use today.
