About Us

Brinton Research is a California Limited Liability Corporation created in March 2009 and incorporated August 28, 2009. Brinton Research provides modeling software for Computational Electromagnetics. We focus on development of simple to use software for engineers that removes costs of ownership and learning curves.

Brinton Research modeling software is free for everyone to download including engineers, scientists and academics involved in electromagnetic modeling. Our innovative new software allows users to model fields previously only capable with expensive software and hardware. The power of BUDDY, Brinton Research's Advanced Engineering Client, is the computational performance when connected to Brinton Research Servers. In addition, our revolutionary server side software, ALICE, is available for customers who wish to install their own code crunching machines.

Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) can be used for:
There is no risk or cost associated with trying Brinton Research modeling software. Brinton Research takes advanced engineering to a whole new level of simplicity!

Joel Brinton
Joel Brinton has a B.A. in International Business from San Diego State University. He has taken an interest RF engineering and computer programming. His experiences include XCOR Aerospace, Space Exploration Technologies and antenna design consulting for a number of engineering firms. Taught by teams of experts in the field, Joel has developed Brinton Research's multi-platform CAD kernel and parallel field solving code.
